The final total of the Bourne Group’s year of fundraising for local children’s hospice charity Shooting Star Chase was a very respectable:
This smashed our original target of £12,000 and although the year is up, there is still one more event which will add to this total: Richard Allen of Omnium Wealth Management suffered a knee injury while training for the 2017 London Marathon so was unable to take part. Shooting Star Chase, however, held his place over for the 2018 Marathon and Richard has just begun preparations for taking part next year.
Thank you to everyone who took part in the various fundraising events and to those who generously donated. A special thanks to Chameleon International, a client of Brewers, who, not only entered several teams for the Crystal Maze challenge in March, but also gave a whopping £1,600 donation.
It has been a really exciting year, with many fun events and new experiences for the Bourne Group team, all while raising vital funds for this worthwhile charity.
